BOB JOHNSON: "Indian" Bob Johnson is pretty much a forgotten player these days. That's too bad, because he played at a near Hall of Fame level. He had a lifetime on base percentage of .393, knocked in over 100 runs 8 times, hit over .290 9 times, and was an outstanding outfielder. When guys like Chick Hafey are in the Hall of Fame, and Bob Johnson who was better in every single way is not, you just wonder. This is a great shot of Johnson in the field. I love the photo and I love the card. And sadly, it is pretty much a common, although Bob Johnson was anything but a common player.
